Our client, a leading alternatives manager, is looking for a product development director to join their team in London. The role will be responsible for developing and structuring new products across liquid alternatives and evergreen/semi-liquid private markets, as well as ongoing management of their existing range.

Responsibilities:

• Structure and develop new investment vehicles while overseeing the existing fund range
• Manage legal documentation processes for fund prospectuses and coordinate negotiations of fund agreements
• Oversee new fund launch projects with comprehensive planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagement
• Execute market research initiatives including competitive analysis, benchmarking studies, and industry landscape assessments
• Build and maintain relationships with hedge fund and private market partners while managing ongoing investment manager relationships
• Conduct annual product portfolio reviews in accordance with Consumer Duty obligations

Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience with private markets fund structures, including Luxembourg SICAV UCI Part IIs and ELTIFs
• Excellent attention to detail coupled with strong communication abilities
• Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration with product, distribution, and marketing functions
