Job Description: The SEMI Foundation is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Program Director Workforce and Education Alliance to lead efforts in building a national alliance for semiconductor workforce and education. The role involves developing relationships with industry, academia, and workforce partners, overseeing digital educational assets, supporting regional workforce development, and aligning programs across the country.
The Director will oversee regional consortia, collaborate with external stakeholders, and manage a team. Key qualifications include extensive experience in workforce development, understanding of US educational systems, strategic planning, and leadership skills. The role requires creativity, energy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with travel approximately 20% of the time.
Preferred qualifications include a degree or relevant experience, 5-8+ years in workforce development, and industry experience in microelectronics/semiconductors. Responsibilities encompass designing and implementing the national alliance, supporting regional consortia, and building industry partnerships. Success is measured by the alliance's impact on workforce outcomes and integration with SEMI Foundation programs.
