We’re seeking a senior construction leader to head up data centre programmes for blue-chip clients. You’ll set the strategy, lead delivery, and grow a high-performing team tackling hyperscale new builds, major expansions and live-environment upgrades—powering AI, cloud and high-density compute at scale.

What you’ll lead Full lifecycle leadership from strategy, feasibility and site selection through design management, procurement, construction and commissioning. Power-led decision making (grid, on-site generation, renewables/PPAs, backup resilience) and sustainability pathways (embodied/operational carbon, water, circularity). Programme governance: set up and run robust controls (schedule, risk, cost, change), with transparent reporting and data-driven insights. Commercial and supply chain strategy: packaging, market engagement, contract formation (NEC/JCT/FIDIC), and performance management. Stakeholder leadership across client, operators, JV partners, utilities, and mission-critical vendors—protecting live operations and SLAs. Team building: recruit, coach and line-manage a growing team (SPM/AD level), fostering a high-performance, solutions-focused culture.
What you’ll bring Degree (or equivalent) in a construction-related discipline (Project Management, QS, CM, Civils/MEP). Proven track record delivering data centre projects (consultancy, client/developer or Tier-1), ideally including hyperscale or large colocation. Deep understanding of power, cooling, scalability, fit-out phasing and commissioning in mission-critical environments. Strong commercial acumen: procurement strategy, cost planning, contracts, and change management on complex, multi-package programmes. Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management; comfortable making clear decisions at pace with incomplete information. Digital fluency across controls, reporting and common data environments.
