Our Building Services division provides complete Facilities Management of properties throughout the UK, providing mechanical and electrical engineering support, cleaning, catering and grounds maintenance on a planned and reactive basis, using technological solutions to manage our teams in the most efficient ways.
We are looking for a Project Director to join the team on our Kent County Council project based in West Malling, Kent.
Responsibilities
- Strategically drive best-in-class operational performance within Local Authority projects.
- Resource projects appropriately to build capability and performance across teams.
- Promote and demonstrate visible leadership in adherence to the company Health & Safety policy and procedures.
- Provide accurate and consistent reports and management information to senior management and clients.
- Take full responsibility for project budget, costs, cash flow and margin in accordance with the forecast process.
- Manage contractual issues arising with customers and the supply chain.
- Support work-winning and operational solutions for new business opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of project delivery in hard facilities management within local authorities and government markets.
- Experience of running complex capital and life-cycle works.
- Ability to develop successful teams and support succession planning.
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Relevant industry Health & Safety management qualifications.
- High level of commercial awareness and experience managing contractual issues with customers and supply chain.
- Effective and timely communicator with strong people leadership skills.
