Project DirectorLocation: Watford / Milton Keynes (travel between sites required)Salary: Negotiable + packageProject Value: £150 million combinedSector: Build to Rent / High-Rise Residential / RC Frame ConstructionAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Project Director to lead the successful delivery of two flagship Build to Rent (BTR) developments in Watford and Milton Keynes, each comprising approximately 300 apartments within high rise reinforced concrete frame structures. The combined construction value is £150 million.Reporting to the Regional Construction Director, you will hold overall responsibility for the safe, profitable, and timely delivery of both projects; managing multi-disciplinary site teams, driving performance, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide clear leadership, strategic direction, and motivation to project delivery teams across both sitesOversee all aspects of the projects including design management, procurement, construction, quality, and handoverMaintain close control of programme, cost, and risk to ensure delivery to budget and timescaleEnsure the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance are achievedManage and build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholdersDrive excellence in delivery, with a focus on quality workmanship, compliance, and client satisfactionLead progress reporting, forecasting, and commercial performance reviewsFoster a collaborative culture between site teams, supply chain, and head office support functionsAbout YouDemonstrable experience as Project Director or Senior Project Manager delivering major high-rise residential schemes (£50m+)Strong technical background in RC frame construction and multi-phase developmentsProven track record working for a main contractorCommercially and contractually astute (experience with Design & Build contracts essential)Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills To be considered, please apply now with your most up to date CV.
