We are seeking an experienced Project Manager or Externals Manager to join a live project in Bournemouth on a contract basis. The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing multiple external packages, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee key external packages including groundworks, façade, roof, and linkways (steelwork and foundations).

  • Ensure all works are delivered to the highest standards of Health & Safety and quality compliance.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to maintain programme and cost control.

  • Provide leadership and direction across all externals activities, ensuring works align with project specifications.

  • Report progress, risks, and key milestones to senior management.

    • Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Externals Manager on major construction projects.

  • Strong technical knowledge across groundworks, façade, and roofing disciplines.

  • Excellent understanding of Health & Safety regulations and site compliance.

  • Experience working within hospital/healthcare or modular construction environments (highly desirable).

  • Ability to manage subcontractors and drive performance to programme deadlines.
