About the team

The Prudential Risk and Regulation team provides tailored solutions to support FS clients in interpreting and implementing regulations, helping them achieve compliance and manage regulator expectations. We assist with regulatory submissions, organizational, regulatory, and systems transformation initiatives to manage prudential risk.

Typical engagements include:

• Reviewing and refining clients' ICAAP, ILAAPs, ICARA, recovery and wind-down plans.
• Responding to queries on prudential rules interpretation and implementation.
• Reviewing regulatory returns like COREP, FINREP, PRA 110.
• Performing skilled persons reviews per PRA expectations.
• Reviewing regulatory change projects for effectiveness.
• Providing assurance on regulatory data processing.
• Reviewing firms' prudential risk management capabilities.
• Providing internal audit expertise.

About the role

As a Manager / Associate Director, you will:

• Lead client engagement teams across FS clients.
• Support business development for key accounts and prospects.
• Work within multidisciplinary teams on various engagements.
• Analyze information, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Lead workshops, design processes, and develop implementation plans.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to implement improvements.
• Manage engagement execution, monitor progress, and review quality.
• Create materials on regulatory impacts and business implications.
• Build client relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Develop proposals and deliver training.
• Mentor junior team members.

What are we looking for?

• Significant experience in prudential regulation and risk management, from industry, consultancy, or PRA.
• Knowledge of PRA rulebook, supervisory statements, EU laws, and regulations, including:
• UK prudential framework, Basel 3.1, and related regulations.
• Experience with ICAAP, ILAAP, ICARA, regulatory reporting, and recovery plans.
• Understanding of PRA's supervisory model and risk factors.
• Experience reviewing regulatory returns and business models.
