  • What you'll do

    You’ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our clients. You will be responsible for managing the UK & Europe MICE & Corporate Group account portfolio for all Dorchester Collection Hotels. In this role, you will:

  • Develop both existing and new business opportunities for all Dorchester Collection hotels along with maintaining relationships and driving maximum revenue potential from the UK/European territory into all hotels. 
  • With exceptional capability in creating client loyalty, you will produce strategic and measurable sales action plans and achieve individual goals set by the Senior Director of Regional Sales UK & Europe.
  • Generate qualified group, meeting, incentive, conference and event business/leads for all Dorchester Collection properties, in line with rate & occupancy expectation, per property.
  • Develop sales strategies to solicit and further develop business from existing accounts, to prospect and uncover new business and to gain market share from competitive set to match Dorchester Collection hotels’ revenue plan strategies.
  • Manage sales activity in territory to increase awareness and positive image of Dorchester Collection.
  • Travel to the properties and various tradeshows/events outside assigned territory as required and explore/research new tradeshow or exhibition opportunities.
  • Arrange and facilitate key account appointments/presentations for visiting hotel colleagues to assigned territory – when necessary.
  • Identify new Group RFP opportunities and work closely on RFP negotiations /re-negotiations and secure maximum number of Group RFPs that match hotels’ needs.
  • Lead and manage FAM trips to all Dorchester Collection properties as necessary.
  • Attend and participate in annual Dorchester Collection sales meeting and annual sales training.
  • Keep accurate, clean, and up to date records of sales activities (advising client potential for all Dorchester Collection hotels) in Nexus database
  • Keep accurate records of expenses and petty cash and manage/update assigned budget on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare annual individual budget and manage final approved version.

    What you'll bring

  • Sales specific experience at a senior level within the luxury market
  • Previous experience prospecting and converting business
  • Ability to balance the financial considerations of the business and understanding of hotels’ marketing and business plans.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively and confidently, with persuasive/influencing skills.
  • Ability to develop long lasting relationships with both clients/guests and the hotel based teams.
  • Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to anticipate clients’/agents’ needs.
  • Adaptability within a busy working office environment and ability to work under pressure
