Sanderson King has been exclusively retained to appoint a Resort Director for one of the UK’s most iconic and high-performing resorts — a unique opportunity to lead a complex and award-winning hospitality destination with a bold brand, a loyal following, and strong year-round performance.

This resort blends wellness, community, guest experience, and exceptional Cornish hospitality and is on an exciting growth trajectory and looking for a hands-on, visionary leader to shape its next chapter.

About the Role

As Resort Director, you will act as the property’s Operations Leader — leading a senior team across operations, wellness, commercial, and brand. You’ll report directly to ownership and play a key role in strategy, delivery, and the continuous elevation of the guest experience and commercial performance.

✔️ We’re looking for:

• Proven experience as a General Manager or Resort Director, ideally in a UK resort, wellness, or lifestyle-led hotel
• Strong P&L, KPI, and team leadership credentials with minimal reliance on head office functions
• A guest-first, commercially-minded approach, capable of scaling and refining operations
• High emotional intelligence, clear communication, and strong leadership presence
• A hands-on mindset with the ability to toggle between big picture strategy and day-to-day detail
• A personal affinity for wellness, hospitality, and meaningful guest engagement
