The Role
As Sales Director, Global Alliances, you will drive the growth of crucial partnerships and alliances that accelerate Virtuoso’s global expansion. You will be responsible for building, nurturing, and expanding strategic relationships with key partners in the software testing and QA landscape, ensuring successful collaboration that leads to mutual business success. Through your leadership, you will unlock new market opportunities for Virtuoso and position our platform as the top choice for modern enterprise test automation. We’ve already established key agreements with several major Global System Integrators (GSIs) — your role will be to build on this strong foundation, deepen these partnerships, and expand our reach into enterprise accounts worldwide.
This is a player-coach role:
- Own and smash your quota through direct sales & strategic alliances.
- Lead and coach a team of 3 Account Directors, driving performance and growth.
It’s the perfect blend of hands-on sales leadership and strategic execution.
What you’ll do
- Build and grow strategic alliances & partnerships.
- Manage key customer accounts (renewals, upsell & expansion).
- Lead deal negotiations with exec-level stakeholders.
- Coach your team through 1:1s, pipeline reviews & live deal support.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture.
What success looks like
Individual & team revenue targets met (and exceeded).

Renewals & expansions across key accounts.
A motivated, high-performing team.
What we’re looking for
- Proven track record hitting quotas in SaaS (ideally QA, DevOps, or software testing).
- Experience leading or coaching sales teams.
- Background in alliances, channels, or partner development.
- Strong negotiator with exec-level stakeholders (CIOs, CTOs, VPs Eng).
- A natural leader & coach, with high EQ and a hands-on approach.
