Job Description

Our client is seeking a Sales Director to drive new business growth in New York. This person will be responsible for building and closing a pipeline of net new clients, with a particular focus on private credit and adjacent markets. You’ll educate prospects on the value of a proprietary AI solution designed specifically for financial contract analysis and negotiation. This is a chance to join an innovative fintech at a pivotal stage, working closely with a lean and ambitious team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities to exceed revenue targets
  • Deliver engaging product demos that highlight the benefits of the platform to private credit and M&A professionals
  • Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline with accurate forecasting against sales goals
  • Build trusted relationships within financial institutions, navigating complex client structures and stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client activity and pipeline information in the CRM
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine sales strategies and ensure client success

Requirements

  • 2+ years in sales or business development with a proven track record of driving revenue
  • Background in private credit, capital markets, or financial services strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with AI/fintech solutions is a plus (but not required – full training provided)
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Persuasive, self-motivated, and able to operate independently in a high-growth environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Based in New York, with the ability to work in-office 3–4 days per week
