Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the public sector sales strategy
  • Identify and pursue high-value public sector opportunities across healthcare (acute NHS hospitals), education, local authorities, MOD, and central government agencies
  • Own revenue, churn and renewal targets for the public sector portfolio, ensuring profitable and sustainable growth
  • Drive end-to-end sales processes, including pipeline development, RFP responses, proposals, negotiation, and closing
  • Manage existing customer relationships
  • Cultivate strong, senior-level relationships with decision-makers in central government, NHS executives, local authorities, and procurement leaders
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the public sector sales team

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven success in senior-level public sector sales, delivering digital infrastructure or telecommunications solutions
  • Strong knowledge of the telecoms landscape and trends (MNOs, Neutral Host, MPN, IoT)
  • Deep understanding of UK public procurement, contracts, and frameworks (e.g. Crown Commercial Service)
  • Experience leading and developing sales teams
