Overview

Sales Director role at EthosEnergy. Supporting Shanahan Engineering, this position develops and maintains positive customer relationships in the global power generation sector, identifies opportunities to positively impact life cycle value for customers, develops proposals to articulate those benefits, and negotiates and closes contracts aligned with the customer value proposition and internal shareholder financial expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure sales targets are achieved and surpassed; provide support to ongoing operations. This will be driven through growth with existing clients and through growth with specific new target customers.
  • Develop and implement the customer-focused Sales Strategy and Sales Plans for products of Construction Services, Field Servicing, Commissioning Services and Consultancy Services within the Power Generation industry.
  • Prepare project handovers to OTR for execution with high rates of first-pass acceptance.
  • Develop strategies for existing and new markets to support and ensure growth in line with business strategy.
  • Management of Salesforce to track all contacts, accounts, leads, opportunities and other sales activities.
  • Maintain and develop good client relationships, regular on-site meetings and regular networking across the industry sectors.
  • Direct working relationships with Sales, Proposal Development, Recruitment, Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Commercial Teams and Senior Leadership teams; external customers within the power market segments aligned with our services.

Experience

  • Previous B2B Sales experience within the power generation construction, commissioning and EPC sector
  • Prior successful experience in domestic and international account operational management
  • Comfortable presenting to management, customers, partners and other external stakeholders

Education Requirements

  • Bachelors in Sales/Technical with experience related to the Power Generation Sector

Physical Requirements

  • Willing to travel to project sites domestically and internationally as required for specific projects. This position can be based from the UK, Ireland or within wider Europe.
