Head of Sales | £70k - £80k + Comms | London / Hybrid

About the Client

Based out of their London office, this business is known across the UK and the rest of the world. They’ve organised exhibitions, summits and conferences for almost two decades and have won plenty of awards. They specialise in arranging pre-qualified 1-2-1 style meetings between c-suite executives and buyers and sellers, and host conferences to discuss key industry topics with high-level individuals across a wide variety of industries.

The Position

This role is brand new for the organisation, with the decision to pass on responsibility and continue to build for the future. The Head of Sales is the way forward. You will manage a team of circa 10 others, including an Event Director, Sales Managers and others. We are looking for a sales leader who can inspire, motivate departments and bring a fresh perspective. You’ll have direct line reports to Event Directors, Sales Managers and Conference Managers. This role requires an entrepreneurial, visionary, driven and ambitious individual.

The role is hybrid with 3 days a week in the office; hours are flexible and the business is understanding of work-life balance. This is a real chance to make the role yours and guide the leadership team on what the role should look like.

About you

• Event experience across Exhibitions, Conferences and Summits would be preferred
• Open to other industries – must have built and led a successful sales department
• Held a sales position previously
• Led teams and been in a like-for-like position
• Commercial and Strategic
• Passionate about supporting others
