About the Role

  • Our client is seeking a Senior Clinical Director to provide overarching clinical leadership across a multi-site small animal group.
  • The role will manage senior vets and branch leads, set clinical strategy and standards, and drive clinical excellence.
  • The position will work closely with departmental leads to identify development areas, support service delivery, and create opportunities for expansion.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities will include leading the senior veterinary team, overseeing the hospital’s clinical provision, and managing a personal caseload.
  • The role will contribute to business planning with leadership colleagues and hold responsibility for clinical direction, governance, and standards, including out-of-hours provision management without night duties.

  • The successful candidate will be a confident, people-focused leader with proven experience in clinical management, decision-making, team development, and appraisal.
  • The individual will communicate effectively, prioritise, and delegate, and will be supported by a capable leadership and RVN team.
