We are working with a small but thriving care organisation, with seven operational nursing care facilities, as they enter the next chapter of their journey.

About the Role

They are looking for a hands-on senior leader, preferably with a clinical background in mental health or older adults nursing care, who can have oversight of Operations and Quality of the services.

Responsibilities

• Striving to ensure the good reputation of the services will be maintained through a culture of quality improvement.
• Running the business and using budgets efficiently to ensure that the safety and comfort of the residents is paramount.
• Working with an established management team.
• Leading an organisation through a period of new service development and beyond.
• Being a visible presence within the services to support with training and development strategies, provide advice and guidance to management, and to provide direct line management to registered managers, quality teams and operations teams.
• Providing assurance to the owners that governance and quality assurance exceeds industry standards.

Qualifications

• A proven track record in social care/ private mental healthcare leadership is essential.
• A car driver.
• An active PIN or valid professional registration is strongly preferred.

Required Skills

• Leadership skills in Private Sector mental health or older adults nursing care.
• Experience in managing operations in nursing care facilities.
• Ability to lead from the front.
