Senior Director Data Management Services

Position Overview:

In the Clinical Research & Development space, you will play a critical role in managing a team that ensures efficient Data Ingestion & Transformation operations, all while adhering to compliance standards. You will collaborate with Bayer IT departments, DSAI sub-functions, and external IT partners to align clinical Business Capabilities with business needs. Your responsibilities include establishing a framework to define strategy and goals, ensuring the correct applications for successful data capture and flow in clinical trials, and overseeing digital capability enablement and operations. You will lead a cross-functional and global multimillion-dollar program to establish a capability platform for clinical data engineering and science. Emphasizing VACC behaviors, you will guide diverse cross-functional resources, ensuring customer needs are met.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Manage a team to ensure efficient Data Ingestion & Transformation operations while maintaining compliance standards;
  2. Collaborate with Bayer IT departments, DSAI sub-functions, and external IT partners to align clinical Business Capabilities with business needs;
  3. Establish a framework to define strategy and goals for data capture and flow in clinical trials;
  4. Oversee digital capability enablement and operations for Data Acquisition and Transformation processes;
  5. Deliver capability planning within the late-stage Focus Area, roadmap, and execution decisions based on business prioritization;
  6. Plan project execution for assigned technologies, including budget and resource distribution;
  7. Lead a cross-functional and global multimillion-dollar program to establish a capability platform for clinical data engineering and science;
  8. Exhibit VACC behaviors, focusing on Architect and Coach roles, and guide cross-functional resources.
