About the company and the role

A super successful financial services company providing outsourced finance teams and cloud-based financial software is looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to help grow the brand, create engaging content, and support campaigns.

If you’re a hard-working generalist who enjoys writing, design, and strategy—this role offers huge freedom and potential for growth. You’ll be the first dedicated marketing hire, working closely with the Head of Revenue Operations (15+ years of marketing experience) to develop and execute the marketing strategy.

This is an all-rounder marketing role, ideal for someone who enjoys working across different areas of marketing. The right candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and eager to develop your skills. Key areas of focus will include:

  1. Content & copywriting: writing LinkedIn posts, blogs, newsletters, case studies, and email campaigns.
  2. Basic graphic design: Creating visually engaging content in Figma, Canva, or similar tools (professional design skills not required).
  3. Social media & brand building: Helping grow the company’s presence on LinkedIn and other platforms through organic content.
  4. Campaign management: Coordinating and managing marketing campaigns, working with agencies and freelancers (PR, design, digital).
  5. Events & partnerships: Supporting with event planning, sponsorships, and partnerships to expand brand awareness.
  6. Marketing operations: Managing marketing workflows, reporting on campaign performance, and ensuring marketing efforts are aligned with business goals.

You'll work closely with the Head of Revenue Operations, who will provide guidance and mentorship, while also giving you the autonomy to take ownership of projects. Over time, you’ll also get the chance to explore new marketing channels such as LinkedIn Ads, partnerships, and PR.

About you

With realistic expectations and a deep understanding of marketing, we don’t expect you to be an expert in everything - the ideal candidate will have:

  1. Experience in a marketing role (ideally 3+ years).
  2. Strong writing skills - you should enjoy crafting clear, engaging content for LinkedIn, blogs, and email.
  3. An eye for design - Comfortable using Canva, Figma, or similar to create visuals (but you don’t need to be a designer).
  4. Confidence managing agencies & freelancers - You’ll work with external teams for design, PR, and digital marketing.
  5. A proactive, self-starter mindset - You’ll have the freedom to test ideas and shape the marketing efforts.
  6. Attention to detail & literacy - A high standard of written and visual content is essential.
  7. Willingness to learn - You’ll have plenty of support, but we want someone who’s keen to develop their skills and grow in the role.
