This is a fully remote, home-based position within Evidera’s Patient-Centered Research (PCR) group, focused on direct to patient observational studies and high-visibility surveys with a strong track record of publications and presentations.Position DetailsWork Schedule: Standard (Mon-Fri)Environment: Office (remote home-based)Mission: Thermo Fisher Scientific enables customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. The PCR organization supports product development and clinical research through patient-centered insights.ResponsibilitiesResearch Project Delivery: Develops and maintains an individual research portfolio; responsible for the ultimate quality of client deliverables; ensures efficient use of project team resources and delivery within budget; develops proposals and designs complex steps for scientific integrity.Science: Serve as internal consultant with senior-level oversight on project work, methods, and regulatory issues; maintain high external visibility through publications and presentations; oversee analyses and deliverables; drive scientific excellence and innovation in the PCR organization.Strategy/Consulting: Participate in development of PCR scientific direction and goals; provide high-level consultation with regulatory bodies and science boards; develop innovative science strategies; collaborate across Evidera units; support business development through client outreach.Managerial Duties: Participate in recruitment for junior PI level personnel; may supervise mid-high level scientific staff; contribute to maintaining scientific quality through training and establishing benchmarks.Education, Professional Skills & ExperiencePhD with 10+ years of health outcomes and patient-centered research experience (or MA with 15+ years) including recent consulting with internal and external clientsTrack record of scientific outputs, especially peer-reviewed publicationsStrong networking skills with capability for business developmentMS Word, PowerPoint, Excel; familiarity with SAS or similar data analysis softwareAbility to lead project teams through innovative, complex, collaborative projectsAbility to work across Evidera business unitsAll duties are performed in alignment with Thermo Fisher Scientific’s values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement.
