My client is a leading design and manufacturing company supplying a range of turnkey products that are installed on site to a variety of sectors globally. The company has received significant capital investment from its parent company, boasts impressive state of the art production facilities and prides itself on its reputation for quality and service.
Current and forecasted growth in the markets in which the company operates has seen a recent surge in profitable sales and this trend is set to continue over the coming years.
The company is looking to identify a high calibre individual to take responsibility for the Contracts and Installation teams, (including site HSEQ). These teams play a pivotal role in the business by co-ordinating the input of several disciplines to achieve customer satisfaction and supporting the profitability of all projects. The role will also involve professionally resolving contractual issues with clients & reviewing/approving contractual documentation.
This is a key leadership role and as part of the executive team will be responsible for playing a significant part in the delivery of the strategic vision and growth plan.
Key responsibilities will include managing contract reviews, liaising with operations and sales teams & maintaining an appropriate level of contact with the customer during the project lifecycle, planning & managing sub-contract resources, reviewing contract documentation and supporting contractual negotiations. Continuous improvement underpins everything the business is aiming to achieve, and the successful person must operate this ethos in mind.
You will have operated at a similar level previously within the construction/ water or M&E sectors, having degree level qualifications in a related discipline, a good understanding of engineering contracts and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The understanding of critical success factors in project delivery is crucial along with the capability to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction. As would be expected, high levels of drive, creativity, and the ability to build and motivate high performing teams are key requisites.
