Director - Creating excellence through solutions in Digital, Marketing and eCommerce Job Title: Social Media Account Director (Contract) Location: Hybrid – London (2-3 days on-site per week) Day Rate: Up to £350/day (Outside IR35) Start Date: ASAP Overview We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Social Media Account Director to lead and deliver high-impact campaigns for a leading agency client. This short-term contract is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, can quickly build trust with stakeholders, and is confident managing teams and clients across multiple channels. Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of social media strategies across key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube). Act as the senior point of contact for client relationships, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and delivery against objectives. Oversee content planning, creative briefing, and performance tracking. Collaborate with internal teams (creative, paid media, analytics) to ensure integrated campaign delivery. Manage and mentor junior team members, ensuring quality and consistency across outputs. Provide strategic recommendations based on performance data and audience insights. Ensure all work is delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Social Media Account Director in an agency or brand-side role. Strong understanding of paid and organic social media, influencer marketing, and content production. Excellent client management and communication skills. Ability to work autonomously and lead projects from start to finish. Comfortable working in a hybrid setup with regular London-based meetings. Available to start immediately. Experience working with consumer brands. Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Meta Business Suite). Previous contract experience with fast onboarding and delivery.
