Supply Chain Director
New Yesterday
Our client, a leading player in their sector of packaging industry, is seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain Director to oversee and transform their supply chain operations. With a multi-million-pound budget under management, this is a career-defining opportunity for a senior leader who thrives in complex, high-volume environments and understands the pivotal role supply chain plays in driving commercial performance on a global scale.
The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and delivering a supply chain strategy that supports the group’s ambitious growth trajectory. This will involve leading end-to-end operations across procurement, logistics, planning, and supplier management, ensuring efficiency, resilience, and sustainability at every stage. With a global supplier base and a customer portfolio spanning multiple sectors, the scope of the role demands someone who has operated at the highest level and is comfortable navigating both the challenges and opportunities of large-scale supply chain leadership.
This is not a role for someone whose supply chain exposure has come as part of a broader operational or general management remit. We are looking for a seasoned supply chain professional, someone who has lived and breathed the discipline, led specialist teams, negotiated strategically at scale, and delivered measurable value through world-class supply chain design and execution. If your experience of “buying” has been occasional or an adjunct to another role, this opportunity will not be the right fit.
Instead, we want to hear from individuals with a proven track record of managing significant budgets, developing international supplier relationships, and leading high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams. You will bring the gravitas to engage confidently with the board, the commercial acumen to ensure supply chain decisions underpin wider business goals, and the vision to introduce new ways of working that will set benchmarks across the industry.
This is a rare opportunity to join a highly successful organisation with both the resources and ambition to make a real impact. If you are a supply chain leader who thrives on scale, complexity, and responsibility—and who wants to play a central role in shaping the future of leading company —we would like to hear from you.
