We are a leading accountancy and advisory practice with a strong national and international presence. Our Indirect Tax team is expanding, and we’re seeking a commercially astute VAT Associate Director to help drive growth, lead client engagements, and mentor junior staff. This is a high-impact role with clear progression to Director and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex VAT advisory projects across sectors including real estate, financial services, manufacturing, and retail
  • Act as primary contact for key clients, delivering strategic VAT advice and identifying planning opportunities
  • Oversee VAT compliance reviews, risk assessments, and HMRC dispute resolution
  • Collaborate with other service lines (corporate tax, audit, legal) to deliver integrated solutions
  • Support business development through networking, proposal writing, and thought leadership
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, contributing to a high-performance culture
  • Stay abreast of VAT legislation changes and communicate implications to clients and internal teams
