The funds are Luxembourg domiciled. Responsibilities Tax Advisory: You will assist the European Tax Managing Director with tax structuring for acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, refinancing, syndication and other ad hoc projects, which will include • Identify and resolve various tax issues related to the acquisition, syndication or refinancing of a property or portfolio investment • Coordinate entity due diligence on property or portfolio acquisitions • Review and provide input on asset and acquisition underwriting models • Advising on capitalisation of / distributions from asset-owning structures in a tax efficient manner • Working with business teams to model tax impact of transactions • Coordinating review and critique of tax advice from external accounting and law firms • Obtain necessary third-party advice on transfer pricing and tax clearances and review deliverables • Ensuring proper documentation is maintained internally with respect to all transactions Tax Compliance: Reporting to the European Tax Managing Director • Manage the compliance process to ensure filing and payment deadlines are met • Review quarterly and year end current and deferred tax numbers under IFRS/local GAAP on an entity-by-entity basis prepared by third party reporting firm • Providing input to year end auditors in connection with tax provisions in financial statements • Manage external consultants’ preparation of non-UK tax filings • Assisting treasury team in responding to CRS and FATCA requests • Ensure proper supporting documentation is maintained for example transfer pricing reports, tax clearances etc • Manage the process of responding to queries raised by tax auditors in various jurisdictions, including liaison with external advisors and internal personnel Skills qualifications - ACA qualified and/or CTA qualified - Pan-European tax experience - Real estate tax knowledge advantageousWelcome to the original home of *New York* glamour and entertainment: The Rainbow RoomWe firmly believe that our team members are the key to our success at the Rainbow Room.
