Currently, as part of our expansion, we are seeking a Tax Disputes and Resolutions Director to join our national team. This role involves working with businesses, individuals, and HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) to resolve tax disputes and inquiries effectively. The ideal candidate will leverage technical expertise and experience to achieve successful outcomes in client interactions with HMRC.

The key responsibilities include:

1. Leading the national team and managing relationships with a portfolio of clients, serving as the primary contact.
2. Providing high-quality Tax Dispute Resolution services in collaboration with colleagues and other service lines.
3. Working closely with team members to deliver client solutions while maintaining Forvis Mazars' quality standards.
4. Engaging in external business development activities and internal networking with partners.
5. Mentoring junior staff and supporting their professional development.

The ideal candidate will have:

• ACA/ACCA/CTA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience operating at senior manager level or higher.
• Excellent communication skills and experience liaising with HMRC.
• Proven client management skills and team leadership experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to networking.
