Following acquisition by Iluma Alliance in 2024, our class-leading portfolio is set to grow.We are seeking a Technical Director (EMEA) to support our global technical team in delivering innovative chemical and biological solutions to improve livestock performance, control diseases, and drive milling efficiency.Position OverviewThe Technical Director will provide excellence in technical expertise and education to enhance our value proposition, supporting key growth markets to achieve budgeted sales volume, margin, and contribution through technical services and mentoring the EMEA Sales team.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain key customer relationships with veterinarians and nutritionists, leading strategic initiatives with industry influencers and organizations.Provide technical support to sales teams in customer meetings and deliver technical presentations at industry events.Develop technical information to advance our value proposition and maintain technical pieces for product support.Identify value gaps and develop plans to address them through research, products, or technical papers.Participate in industry associations, coordinate with Marketing, and utilize Salesforce CRM to update interactions.Determine and deliver necessary training across the sales team and write technical reports and protocols for field trials.Analyze and organize data from trials.Essential Qualifications/ExperiencePhD in poultry science or animal production, or DVM, with 5+ years of experience in the poultry or swine industry.Demonstrated success in a technical service role, introducing new products and concepts to customers and markets.Strong technical and scientific background, with excellent communication and people skills.Fluent in English, with strong analytical skills and computer literacy in MS Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.A self-starter with drive and flexibility.Desired QualificationsPublication of technical papers in peer-reviewed journals.Knowledge of modern feed mill operations and additional language skills.Hours of Work and TravelStandard working hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with modifications to meet sales goals, including after-hours work and national and international travel up to 50%.What We OfferA challenging position within a high-potential agri-tech company.An attractive compensation package, including generous benefits: home-based work, 25 days holiday, car allowance, life cover, income protection, private medical, and Employee Assistance Program. #J-18808-Ljbffr
