Job Overview
Jensen Hughes has a rare and exciting opportunity for a talented Technical Director to join the market-leading Manchester team and drive excellence across projects, delivering world-class life safety solutions to a varied client base.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of professional awareness of technical matters in the fire industry and provide updates and briefings as required.
- Guide fire engineering professionals and deliver complex solutions to large construction engineering projects.
- Take control of current and future projects, ensuring financial targets are met and exceeded.
- Drive technical excellence, team engagement, and develop key client relationships.
- Be the expert for clients and the first point of contact.
- Lead discussions with design teams, building control, and the fire service.
- Attend industry conferences to network and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Supervise and train graduate engineers.
Requirements And Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A background in fire engineering, preferably within a consultancy environment.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Fire Engineering.
- Ideally working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer.
- The right to work in the UK.
- The ability to undertake works independently.
- The ability and desire to mentor and manage young professionals.
