Overview
Transfer Pricing Director (Manager equivalent) within FTI Consulting's Tax Advisory practice. The candidate will take ownership of the delivery of transfer pricing services and delegating work to the more junior people within the team. The role will involve managing a portfolio of multinational clients across a broad range of industries, ensuring excellent client service and identification of further work opportunities. The role will involve working on a breadth of advisory projects across all technical areas of transfer pricing, including transfer pricing policy design, reviews and implementation, thin capitalisation analysis, transfer pricing in M&A transactions, and expert witness litigation. The role will also include working on transfer pricing documentation projects and benchmarking analyses. In addition, there will be an opportunity to take an active role in business development opportunities, both through involvement in proposals and attending networking events.

Responsibilities
- Exhibiting strong project management to ensure timely delivery of work to meet deadlines
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and providing high levels of client service
- Managing WIP and billing for own clients, ensuring commercial recoveries
- Engaging in business development activities
- Liaising with the wider tax team and other service lines in respect of client work and potential business development opportunities
- Coaching and mentoring more junior members of the team to deliver work and provide feedback
- Adhering to the firm's risk management procedures and performing related administrative tasks
Qualifications
What You Will Need To Succeed
- Proven skills and experience in transfer pricing gained in consulting
- Strong technical ability
- Highly organised, have a good attention to detail and being able work to deadlines
- Able to communicate complex technical issues in a straightforward and practical way to tax and non-tax specialists.
- Ability to manage work within budgets and deadlines
- Appetite to get involved in business development
- Able to prioritise and manage a varied workload under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.).
- Ability to manage both a team of people as well as clients
Basic Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- CTA qualified (or equivalent)
