Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and deliver indirect tax projects, ensuring exceptional technical standards in a multifaceted commercial setting.
• Guide and mentor junior team members.
• Help secure new opportunities by fostering strong client and internal stakeholder relationships with support from the broader tax team.
• Stay updated on changes in indirect tax laws and contribute to the technical advancement of the team.
• Manage team members to meet project deadlines, liaising with HMRC where required.
• Uphold risk management standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• CTA qualification with outstanding VAT expertise and analytical abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of UK VAT regulations and practices.
• Valuable experience in partial exemption, insolvency, and M&A processes.
• Dedication to teamwork.
• Proven project management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Strong aptitude for building and maintaining both internal and external client relationships.
• Pre-established robust client and market networks.
