Venue Director Eastbourne Theatres are looking for a dynamic Venue Director to lead our much-loved theatres into an exciting new chapter. Our venues – the Congress Theatre, Devonshire Park Theatre and Winter Garden – host a vibrant year-round programme of musicals, drama, comedy, live music, community work and conferences. As one of the cultural cornerstones of the South Coast, we welcome thousands of visitors each year and pride ourselves on delivering outstanding experiences for audiences and artists alike. The Role As Venue Director, you’ll be the driving force behind Eastbourne Theatres. You’ll: Shape the artistic and commercial programme to delight audiences and grow our reputation. Lead and inspire our teams, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity and inclusivity. Oversee all aspects of operations, ensuring our venues run smoothly, safely and to the highest standard. Build strong partnerships with local communities, stakeholders and industry partners. Deliver commercial success, balancing creativity with a sharp business focus. About You We’re looking for a proven leader with: Experience in managing a complex cultural or commercial venue. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to maximise revenue opportunities. A track record of building and motivating teams. Passion for live performance and commitment to audience and community engagement.
