Impact of the Role By joining True North Odyssey as a Volunteer Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in helping fathers and their teenage sons and Duaghters (ages 12-17) create lifelong memories and build deeper connections. Your outreach efforts will directly impact families, offering them the opportunity to strengthen their bond through adventure, reflection, and meaningful experiences. As part of a new and growing company, you will have the unique chance to shape how we reach and engage fathers, helping us establish a strong foundation for future retreats and events. Your work will contribute to a movement that supports teenagers in navigating their journey into adulthood with the guidance and presence of their fathers. By successfully securing attendees for our Father-Son May Retreats, you will Improve the lives of fathers and teenagers by providing them with a transformational experience. Encourage open communication between fathers and sons, fostering trust and understanding. Help teenagers build confidence and resilience through outdoor challenges and shared learning experiences. Support fathers in becoming more present, engaged, and intentional in their parenting. Be part of an inspiring team committed to making a real difference in the lives of families. What are we looking for?
Skills & Qualifications To thrive as a Volunteer Sales Executive for True North Odyssey, you should have Essential Skills Strong Communication & Persuasion Ability to connect with fathers, clearly convey the retreat’s value, and inspire them to take action. Relationship Building Comfort in engaging with potential participants, nurturing leads, and fostering trust. Self-Motivation & Initiative A proactive mindset, with the ability to work independently and drive outreach efforts forward. Sales & Negotiation Experience in sales, business development, or customer outreach (preferred but not required). Organisation & Time Management Ability to manage leads, follow up effectively, and keep track of outreach efforts. Technical & Digital Skills Social Media & Online Networking Familiarity with platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram to reach potential participants. Email & Phone Outreach Comfortable reaching out via email, calls, and messaging apps to engage fathers directly. CRM & Lead Tracking (Preferred) Experience with basic CRM tools or spreadsheets to manage leads is a plus. Personal Qualities Passionate about fatherhood, mentorship, and personal growth. Enthusiastic about helping teenagers develop confidence and life skills. Friendly, empathetic, and eager to make a real impact on families.

Sales Executive (Father-Son Retreats) True North Odyssey is seeking a Volunteer Sales Executive to help sell five spots for our transformative Father-Son May Retreats (for boys aged 12-17 and their fathers). This is a flexible, remote role ideal for a passionate communicator who believes in the power of strengthening father-son bonds through adventure and personal growth. About True North Odyssey We design unique experiential retreats that help fathers and their children deepen their connection through outdoor adventures, teamwork, and meaningful conversations. Our May retreats offer a chance for dads and their teenage sons to step away from daily life and engage in an experience that fosters trust, resilience, and lasting memories. Role Responsibilities Identify and reach out to fathers who would benefit from the retreat via social media, direct outreach, networking, or community engagement. Build relationships with potential participants, explaining the retreat’s value and addressing their questions. Follow up with interested dads, nurture leads, and encourage sign-ups. Work with our team to refine outreach strategies and improve messaging. Provide regular updates on outreach progress and insights gained from conversations. Ideal Candidate A great communicator with strong persuasion and relationship-building skills. Passionate about personal growth, fatherhood, and adventure-based experiences. Experience in sales, customer outreach, or business development. Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable with remote work. Familiar with social media, email outreach, and phone-based engagement.
