OverviewCNBC have an exciting 12-month FTC opportunity to join as Account Director within the Ad Sales business. We are looking for a strong Account Director to join our International Ad Sales team. As an Account Director, you will be responsible for revenue goals, which include growing existing business as well as developing new business. This role is based in London but must be willing to work across time zones with key stakeholders in APAC.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with int’l sales team to understand client briefs and provide recommended approach for EMEA campaigns.Lead ideation, implementation, and execution for int’l clients.Act as a first point of contact for int’l sales team across EMEACollect and share marketplace feedback to guide our account prospecting strategy.Support and work with the national and local sales teams on pre-sale research, pitch process and collateral.Sales lead on international team that is dedicated to drive EMEA revenue in partnership with int’l teams across CNBC International.Serve as subject matter expert on EMEA media trends, best practices, ad technologies, and CNBC specific capabilities.Work and collaborate with a diverse group of internal cross-functional teams across Pricing & Planning, Insights & Measurement, Marketing and Strategy.QualificationsMinimum 7 years of media experienceBachelor’s degreeDeep knowledge of CNBC and ability to leverage relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.Proactive attitude with excellent project management, organizational, and consultative skills.Proven team player with the ability to take on different assignments/projects in a timely mannerDemonstrated strong interpersonal, communication, client relation and organizational skills.Proven ability to work and analyze numeric data.Proven ability to alternate from detailed work to client interaction seamlessly.Proven ability to build and maintain relationships at the senior level.Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, and Excel.High attention to detail and very organized.The responsibilities associated with this position are not limited to the above description and may be modified at any time by the Company.Additional InformationAs part of our selection process, external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview with an NBCUniversal employee at one of our locations prior to a hiring decision.
