Reporting to the Global Advertising Sales Director, the candidate will be a dynamic, commercially minded self-starter, responsible for driving digital ad revenue from their assigned agency group. They will work with the Global Advertising Sales Director to implement ads strategy across their patch and ensure best-in-class sector, industry, and client knowledge.


With a proactive, can-do attitude, they will have a proven track record of achieving new business as well as growing existing relationships. They will be confident in presenting to all levels within media agencies and have the tenacity to challenge current business schedules. The ownership and future growth of this role suits a results-driven, determined individual looking to develop their profile and experience.


Key responsibilities

  • Sell advertising solutions within your agency group, focusing on your designated patch
  • Document planning for your dedicated patch
  • Leverage existing and new relationships to build your own pipeline of opportunities
  • Regularly meet and present to key individuals and teams within your agency patch
  • Create and deliver market-leading proposals and pitches for both incoming briefs and proactive pitches
  • Develop and nurture excellent agency and client-direct relationships
  • Ensure the company is briefed on all relevant campaigns within your agency/client patch
  • Accurate forecasting and prospecting to the line manager and wider team
  • Reach and exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs, as agreed with the Global Sales Director
  • Coordinate with Ad Operations and other departments to ensure campaign success
  • Provide market insight and collaborate with senior management to drive business success
  • Identify key opportunities for commercialization and contribute to strategic planning
  • Possess detailed understanding of company capabilities and digital ad market
  • Utilize expertise to win and deliver ad campaigns effectively
  • Represent the company at industry events
  • Foster collaboration between departments


Requirements

  • Minimum four years of digital sales experience and account management with media agencies (client-direct experience is a bonus)
  • Contacts and established relationships across agencies
  • Demonstrable experience bringing new ad products and concepts to market
  • Track record of winning and developing business from scratch
  • Excellent presentation, organizational, and communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • The ability to work in a fluid, fast-paced, entrepreneurial and results-oriented culture, where team members work collaboratively
  • A positive and proactive attitude, together with knowledge of wider internet technologies and trends
