Overview of the role This is a key role, responsible for supporting the next phase of business growth by attracting new clients and managing relationships with our top 50 customers. The ideal candidate will proactively pursue opportunities for business development, understand customer challenges, and offer relevant ITPS solutions. The role requires substantial experience working with C-suite clients in large organisations and the ability to confidently engage in professional business discussions with senior executives.

Accountabilities Expand the existing client base through building and managing excellent relationships with business leaders to understand and meet business challenges with ITPS solutions Retain key accounts through excellent account management with large and complex businesses, continually identifying business opportunities Prepare high quality, engaging and business specific presentations for clients and recommend relevant solutions from the ITPS portfolio Develop excellent relationships with vendors for prospecting and closing new business opportunities Negotiate sales, package discounts, and long-term contracts with key clients Develop and maintain comprehensive account plans, ensuring they are up to date and accurate Develop deep knowledge in all core products and services offered by ITPS Keep up to date with sector developments, and knowledge and industry trends and innovations Proactively support the Marketing team to ensure successful campaigns and lead generation Develop relationships with third party vendors within the client base to pursue referrals Maintain sales activity and pipeline progression within the CRM system and provide regular reporting Work as a Team Player bringing in relevant key stakeholders as required, and co-ordinating resources to ensure the right solutions are defined for the customer with the right people involved at the right time Skills and experience Significant experience in a Senior Sales role working with significant key accounts (3 to 5 years) at C suite level Demonstrable track record in attracting and retaining new business/key accounts Strong account management background working with senior stakeholders with a track record in upselling and cross selling Strong track record achieving and exceeding new business and key account management targets Used to working with CRM systems Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally Excellent presentation skills Working with other functions such as Pre Sales to jointly deliver success for the customer and the business Excellent negotiation skills Excellent communication skills Good attention to detail Can work well with data Good knowledge of current and emerging technology trends Ability to analyse data Behaviors Confident and personable Resilience and tenacity Self motivated Positive mindset Works well with others Active listening Resourceful and persistent Professional Articulate Accountability mindset Driven to succeed
