Role Summary and Impact

EssenceMediacom is the breakthrough agency. We don’t just plan media—we engineer growth. As a Commerce Integration Strategist, you’ll help redefine how commerce and media intersect for some of the world’s most iconic brands—from consumer electronics to CPG—across the UK and EMEA.

This is a strategic, consultative role designed to embed commerce thinking into every stage of the media planning process. You’ll work across disciplines, guiding teams and clients to connect brand-building with business outcomes. You won’t activate campaigns directly—but you’ll oversee, advise, and elevate activation strategies to ensure they’re commerce-aware, retail-ready, and performance-driven.

Responsibilities

  • Embed commerce thinking into every stage of the media planning process, guiding teams and clients to connect brand-building with business outcomes.
  • Oversee, advise, and elevate activation strategies to ensure they’re commerce-aware, retail-ready, and performance-driven.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in media strategy, e-commerce, or retail media
  • Deep understanding of retail platforms (Amazon, Criteo, Dunnhumby, Nectar360) and commerce ecosystems
  • Strong grasp of data-driven planning, audience intelligence, and digital shelf analytics
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
  • A passion for innovation, collaboration, and driving business growth through media
