The team needs to hire an experienced Senior Account Manager/Account Director ideally with previous PR agency experience but you absolutely must have a passion for financial services.ResponsibilitiesWorking with the team to develop PR and marketing plans and strategies and to implement activityLiaising with clients and attending client meetings and eventsBuilding connections and relationships with journalists, clients and industry peersResearching, writing, proofreading and issuing copy – including press releases, articles and blogsIdentifying relevant press stories and journalist interests for clients, as well as arranging interviews and commentarySecuring opportunities for clients in all relevant publicationsKeeping up to date with key industry and legislative datesUndertaking relevant market research in a variety of areasAnalysing and evaluating media coverage and preparing client reportsWillingness to network and provide occasional organisation and support with events, such as press breakfasts and client seminarsIdeal candidate / QualificationsEnergetic, positive and inquisitiveA proactive and creative thinkerAn excellent communicator – both verbal and writtenOrganised and efficientAble to work to deadlines and cope positively with time pressurePrepared to roll up their sleeves as and when necessaryAu fait with a range of PR and marketing communications activities, including social mediaAble to work as part of a team, but also be able to self-motivate and take ownership of individual projects and tasksExperienced in the UK financial market ideally (although industry training can be provided)Benefits25 days’ annual leave plus additional day for birthdayCompany pension schemeSeason ticket loanFlexible working arrangementsWorking here is interesting and challenging and the rest of team take a real pride in delivering great results for their clients so you will need to do the same.
