Real Chemistry is hiring an Account Director to join our growing team. This role requires solid client services experience in healthcare, the ability to lead client strategy engagements and oversee project execution across different communication platforms, and drive new business opportunities. The position offers an opportunity to work with leading clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices and health IT sectors.

Responsibilities
- Manage multiple client engagements of varying sizes in a fast-paced environment.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional relationship skills.
- Balance big-picture strategy with ad hoc guidance and ensure flawless execution of associated tactics.
- Guide clients on integrated marketing/communications decisions and identify opportunities to increase brand visibility, including consultative selling.
- Develop high-level and persuasive communications plans (annual, quarterly, etc.).
- Lead operational efforts and be accountable for the financial performance of engagements through close management of budgets and team members.
- Manage client budgets, resourcing, budget tracking, staffing and billability.
- Ensure the account team delivers high quality work and responds to client requests in a strategic, timely manner.
- Partner with shared service leads to run and grow integrated business (social media/digital, creative) and develop new business opportunities.
- Directly supervise account staff and promote continuous learning and development to build a high-performing culture.

- Guide clients on integrated marketing/communications decisions and identify new opportunities to increase visibility for their brand.
- Develop high-level communications plans (annual, quarterly, etc.).
- Lead operational efforts and be accountable for the financial performance of engagements through close management of budgets and team members.
- Manage client budgets, resourcing, budget tracking, staffing and billability.
- Ensure the quality of the account team is held to a high standard and client requests are handled strategically and timely.
- Partner with shared service leads to run and grow integrated business and develop new business opportunities.
- Directly supervise account staff and promote continuous learning and development to help build a high performing culture.

What You Should Have
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding client work.
- Experience developing multi-faceted, multi-channel strategies and campaigns.
- Experience with measuring program performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Experience in global programs and local implementation.
- Ability to convey scientific or clinical information to audiences with varying levels of knowledge.
- Support for and drive of new business operations, with understanding of industry regulations in the UK and across Europe.
- Experience with annual planning, resourcing and forecasting.
- Professional presence with a client-service orientation and urgency in delivery.
- Ability to communicate with managers about deadlines and potential issues.
- Excellent business communication, including presentations and writing; confident public speaking with clients, vendors, and affiliates.
- Supervisory skills to manage and develop junior staff and collaborate with subcontractors.
- Demonstrated growth and experience in management roles.
- Intermediate to advanced social media capabilities.
- Project management experience with ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and manage budgets.
The position requires some international travel for client meetings and conferences (20-30%).
