OverviewDepartment: LifestyleEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: PURPLE LondonThe Account Director will play a critical role in supporting client management, developing and executing impactful PR campaigns, and driving media results for a diverse portfolio of clients across luxury property, placemaking, design and hospitality. Working closely with the wider team, this position requires strategic thinking, creativity, and exceptional organisational skills to ensure excellence in all aspects of client work.Key ResponsibilitiesMedia Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists, editors, influencers, and media outlets across traditional and digital platforms.Media Relations: Stay informed of industry trends, media landscapes, and emerging platforms to identify opportunities for clients.Client Management: Serve as a day-to-day contact for clients, fostering relationships built on trust, expertise, and effective communication.Client Management: Provide counsel and proactive solutions to address client needs and challenges.Client Management: Manage meeting cadence and preparations within the team and externally.Campaign Execution: Craft compelling press materials, including press releases, pitches, and reports, ensuring consistency in tone and quality in line with PURPLE’s branding and style.Campaign Execution: Manage and coordinate media strategy, focusing on output to secure impactful coverage across relevant outlets and achieving KPI’s.Team Leadership and Collaboration: Oversee and mentor junior team members, providing guidance to enhance their professional growth and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.Team Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, within lifestyle division and beyond, including international offices, to ensure seamless execution of campaigns.Event Management: Plan and execute events, including press launches, media familiarization trips, and influencer activations, ensuring flawless delivery.Event Management: Coordinate all logistics, timelines, and budgets, maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.Analysis and Reporting: Monitor, evaluate, and report on campaign performance, providing clients with actionable insights and recommendations.Analysis and Reporting: Analyze competitor activity and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge for clients.Skills, knowledge & expertiseMinimum of 5-6 years’ experience in PR, ideally within an agency environment or similar field.Proven track record of managing client accounts and delivering successful PR campaigns.Strong understanding of media relations, with established relationships across multiple sectors – property and / or design contacts desirablePassionate and highly driven by lifestyle, culture, and emerging industry trends.A collaborative team player with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing junior colleagues across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Excellent proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and PR platforms like Cision. #J-18808-Ljbffr
