Internal Recruiter at emap, a growing media organisation with over 600 people. We own a diverse portfolio of brands and operate in print, digital content and events.

Company and Brand: Trading as emap for its B2B division, Metropolis International is a fast-growing, privately owned Media Group with over £50m of annual revenue, structured in two divisions – consumer media and business-to-business media. We run print magazines, digital content and both face-to-face and virtual awards, conferences, and other events. Money Marketing is the award-winning title for the UK’s financial adviser profession.

Role purpose

The job holder will be responsible for driving and growing digital advertising, sponsorship and content marketing revenues within the Indigo division of emap across the Money Marketing proposition. Our commercial clients come from the B2B financial services sector, including asset managers, life companies and support service providers, and their agencies where applicable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business accounts while managing existing accounts to achieve sales targets and drive yield.
  • Prospect for and qualify potential clients, and close sales.
  • Coordinate with sales colleagues, editorial teams, production teams, sales support teams and ADOPs to ensure timely and accurate delivery of commercial elements.
  • Diligent management of emap’s CRM system (Elan).
  • Coordinate and provide post-sale feedback to clients.
  • Travel and conduct face-to-face sales presentations with new and existing clients.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrate exceptional daily sales drive, in-depth knowledge of digital advertising formats and strong commercial acumen.
  • Demonstrate account management experience with clients and agencies.
  • A proven record in defining and delivering high-value content marketing packages in the B2B sector.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and develop new initiatives and sales assets.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office.
