About The Role
Reporting to: Senior Account Director
Fuse is looking for an experienced Account Director who is an excellent leader and thrives within a fast-paced agency environment.
Responsibilities
- Ticketing & Systems: Responsible for the set up, testing, roll out and management of the client’s Guest Management Systems, ordering, allocating and distribution of tickets across multiple UEFA Club Competitions, and general account management. Develop, implement, and maintain online guest management systems; ensure they are user-friendly, efficient, and aligned with branding guidelines of the sponsor.
- Systems training & support: provide support and guidance to the ticketing team on system usage, establish best practices, monitor progress, and train/support client Ticket Managers.
- Ticket ordering: Order tickets via UEFA platforms in line with client requirements for each match day, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Ticket allocation: Oversee allocation of tickets for match days, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to all stakeholders and guests.
Account & Client Management
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage an account team, setting clear objectives and guiding performance and service delivery.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with the client, acting as primary point of contact to ensure high-quality service.
- Work closely with UEFA & TEAM (UEFA’s marketing agency) throughout the season.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deliverables are met and stakeholders are informed; use project management tools to ensure efficient workflow.
- Reporting and Analysis: Collect and analyse data on system and process performance; provide regular client reports with insights and recommendations.
Budget & Commercial Management
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets, track expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Commercial Acumen: Apply commercial awareness to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Scope of Work Planning: Develop detailed scopes of work with Senior Account Director; outline deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements; adjust plans as needed.
- Client Billing: Oversee accurate and timely billing; ensure invoices align with contracts and manage accounts receivable with finance.
General
- Work around UEFA match days; dedication to this role is vital.
- Drive Efficiencies: Identify opportunities to improve workflow and productivity; foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Support wider event project teams in hospitality, production, food & beverage, logistics, operations, and related areas.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams to ensure cohesive and integrated execution; foster innovation and excellence.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience in relevant roles; agency experience is ideal but not essential.
- A passion for sport and entertainment; experience with online ticketing portals and guest management systems.
- UEFA experience ideal but not essential; experience managing direct reports and client accounts; experience with multiple-stakeholder projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Process driven with excellent attention to detail; ability to multi-task and be solutions-focused; experience in end-to-end financial processes and budget management.
- A can-do, positive, friendly attitude; international client experience is a bonus.
You need to have the ability and willingness to work flexibly, usually in the London office, with occasional UK/international travel, on-site work at events and some weekend work.
This is a full-time role and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
