Overview
Responsible for building and maintaining long term profitable partnerships with key Gallagher affinity partners.
Drive growth of the business through our affinity model and delivers income targets as a minimum standard.
Working at a senior level across Gallagher to optimise affinity partnership opportunities and profitability.
The day to day role involves managing and engaging with external clients and internal stakeholders, seeking new business growth opportunities and contributing towards the development and strategic direction of our affinity partnerships.
How you'll make an impact
- Build a strategic plan for each client, evaluate performance and ensure the business meets agreed SLAs
- Ensure budgetary expectations are met internally and externally
- Act as the key conjugate between internal and external stakeholders
- Responsible for adhering to contractual obligations with partners and all monthly and quarterly business reviews
- Working with relevant colleagues in the business ensure all schemes and partnerships are accurately resourced
- Negotiate with the Insurer relations manager to ensure optimisation of our product offerings and of our income.
- Seek to negotiate with partners to broaden the range of products; whilst improving processes for mutual benefit.
- Ensure that allocated existing client relationships are maintained and grown at every opportunity, and that all relationships are governed by appropriate contracts and IAR agreements
- Monitor and report on Client account profitability within agreed timescales
- Maintain a strong knowledge and awareness of the commercial insurance market.
About You
- Key partnership account management/relationship management experience is essential.
- Excellent people skills with particular mentoring emphasis. Excellent interpersonal skills, forward planning attitude with a result driven mind-set.
- Insurance experience is preferable.
- Cert CII, Dip CII and educated to degree standard or equivalent is desirable.
- Able to demonstrate innovative ideas based on Industry trends.
- Strong negotiation skills, proven ability to grow, nurture and develop effective relationships.
- Evidence of effectively prioritising risks to manage concurrent workflow.
- Thrive on working towards and exceeding deadlines, able to quickly grasp and interpret salient information to maximise growth opportunities.
- Ability to engage and motivate others, confident in presenting to all audiences.
- Manages transition and ambiguity with a high level of insight.
- The highest degree of ethics and integrity in client focus
- Proficient in MS Office
- Eligible to work in the UK
