Account Manager / Account Director – Prime London Property Portfolio
Location: Belgravia, Mayfair, Chelsea, Fitzrovia & Marylebone Salary: Up to £80,000 + Benefits + Car + Package Contract: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
An exceptional opportunity for an experienced Account Manager / Account Director to lead the delivery of Facilities and Property Management services across a prestigious Central London portfolio consisting of Grade-A commercial offices, mixed-use assets, and high-end residential properties.
You’ll oversee a small team of Building and Facilities Managers while acting as the strategic lead and client interface, ensuring outstanding operational delivery, commercial performance, and occupier satisfaction across all assets.
This is a key leadership role within a market-leading property management organisation, requiring strong stakeholder management, financial acumen, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality FM and property operations in complex, premium environments.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Portfolio Oversight
* Lead the FM and property delivery across multiple high-profile buildings in Belgravia, Mayfair, Chelsea, Fitzrovia, and Marylebone.
* Provide strategic direction and day-to-day support to on-site teams and Building Managers.
* Act as the primary point of contact for landlords, investors, and occupiers on all operational and commercial matters.
* Ensure full compliance, health & safety, and environmental standards across the portfolio.
Financial & Commercial Management
* Own the service charge budgets for multiple sites, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with RICS guidelines.
* Manage CapEx and OpEx planning, lifecycle works, and project delivery in line with asset strategies.
* Identify and implement cost-efficiency and value-engineering initiatives across all service contracts.
* Provide monthly and quarterly portfolio performance reports to the Director of FM and asset management teams.
Operational Delivery
* Oversee the procurement, mobilisation, and performance of all hard and soft FM contracts — including engineering, maintenance, cleaning, security, and front-of-house.
* Monitor supplier performance, ensuring consistent delivery against SLA and KPI frameworks.
* Lead on PPM strategy, compliance audits, and risk management, embedding best practice across the portfolio.
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery, sustainability, and operational resilience.
Stakeholder & Client Relationship Management
* Build strong, trusted relationships with landlords, tenants, investors, and consultants.
* Act as the senior escalation point for operational or contractual issues, resolving them promptly and diplomatically.
* Partner with leasing, marketing, and placemaking teams to ensure properties remain desirable, commercially competitive, and operationally robust.
* Champion occupier experience and engagement, ensuring consistent delivery of premium customer service standards.
Team Development & Leadership
* Mentor and support Facilities and Building Managers across the portfolio.
* Lead regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training initiatives to drive engagement and accountability.
* Promote a culture of collaboration, transparency, and high performance across all FM operations.
About You
* Proven background as an Account Manager, Senior Facilities Manager, or Account Director within a managing agent or client-side environment.
* Experience managing multi-site portfolios with service-charge budgets and complex stakeholder networks.
* Strong knowledge of FM operations, compliance, and RICS Service Charge Code.
* Excellent leadership, financial management, and client-relationship skills.
* RICS / MRICS (desirable)
* IWFM Level 5+ (desirable), NEBOSH / IOSH preferred.
* Professional, articulate, and commercially driven — with the confidence to lead at a senior client-facing level.
