OverviewArtistic Design Director - Luxury British Sculpture Brand. This is a leadership role at a globally celebrated brand at the intersection of luxury design, fashion, art, and culture. You will guide the creative direction of our New, Bespoke, and Classic collections and represent the brand internationally.At David Harber, we create award-winning, hand-crafted sculptures that redefine luxury spaces around the world.ResponsibilitiesLead and inspire the creative team, driving the full design process from research and ideation to concept and innovation.Translate the founder’s creative direction into elegant, commercially successful products that honour the brand legacy.Develop and evolve the New, Bespoke, and Classic product ranges; translate client briefs into bespoke proposals.Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Marketing to deliver exceptional results and drive cross-functional alignment.Represent the brand externally as a global ambassador; build relationships across the luxury design community and with high-profile clients and partners.Lead design thinking at high-profile UK and international events, CPDs, and conferences.Mentor and develop a talented creative team, fostering innovation, curiosity, and design excellence.Balance creativity with commercial considerations and maintain a positive, open leadership style.What you’ll shapeDrive creative vision for David Harber’s New, Bespoke, and Classic products.Transform client briefs into inspiring bespoke proposals and push materials/finishes to explore new potentials.Lead multiple projects from sketch to proposal with precision, flair, and on-brand storytelling.Ensure the brand appears at prestigious spaces and events, maintaining luxury status and visibility.About youDegree in visual or product design (or equivalent experience) with senior-level expertise, ideally in the luxury sector.Strong grasp of historical, classical, and contemporary design; able to balance creativity with commercial awareness.Excellent face-to-face client interaction skills; confident translating complex briefs into elegant solutions.Exceptional communication, networking, leadership, and people management abilities.Positive, open mindset with the ability to inspire clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.Company & cultureDavid Harber Ltd is a multi‑award‑winning, internationally renowned designer of luxurious, hand-crafted sculptures.
