Asset Director (Engineering/Materials Handling Equipment)

Home Based Role with Frequent Travel to Exeter

£80,000 - £90,000

Asset Director sought for a successful international manufacturer of materials handling machinery. The role will suit those looking to contribute towards the overall leadership of the business.

To apply for the role, you need experience in a similar role demonstrating asset management experience in material handling, construction, plant or similar industries.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for both Used Truck (UT) and Short-Term Rental (STR). This person will lead both teams and drive sustainable growth and profitability in line with overall business strategy and agreed budgets.

The Role in Brief:

· Lead and oversee the used and short-term team

· Responsible for UT & STR assets, including ancillary products and budgets for both fleets

· Identifying appropriate investment to the total rental fleet

· Develop strong relationships with the Sales teams of both Direct and Indirect channels

· Part of the Senior Leadership Team, contribute to ensure Company Goals & Objectives both short & long term are achieved

The Person Required:

· Asset management experience in material handling, construction, plant or similar industries

· Strong leadership skills

· Technical background/understanding

· IT literate
