This person will lead both teams and drive sustainable growth and profitability in line with overall business strategy and agreed budgets.# **We offer:**The Asset Director will:* Provide visible, supportive and engaging leadership to the Used & STR team members.* Be responsible for the STILL UK UT & STR assets, including ancillary products.* Be accountable for the financial budgets associated with both fleets* To manage and align the STR fleet profile with company strategies and maximise fleet commercial life span and utilisation* Identifying appropriate investment and divestments decisions to profile the total rental fleet, to ensure the correct size and shape to meet budget and market demands* Align with contract team and be responsible for pro-active planning of truck disposal activities including end-user sales, Refinance deals, dealer Sales, trade packages, fleet swap outs and scrap to secure optimal KION Group values.* Steer UT fleet availability down the right sales channel to maximise overall company profitability* Develop strong relationships in order to work closely with the Sales teams of both Direct and Indirect channels to deliver all required operational and financial objectives and also across the STILL Group* Monitor and develop action plans to deliver improvement in the external customer satisfaction metrics.* To be a member of the STILL UK Senior Leadership Team and contribute to ensure Company Goals & Objectives both short & long term are acheived# **Tasks and Qualifications:**The above to be achieved by being responsible for the below activities,* Establish a culture of QHSE throughout the business stream.* Ensure a positive supportive and professional working culture with a focus on continuous improvement* Monitor and report departmental performance, taking appropriate recovery actions where required* Drive collaboration and best practice within UT and STR sales channels across both the STILL Group and KION ITS to maximise EBIT* Exercise commercial judgement including the use of 3rd party suppliers (cross hire), as well commercial review on truck level* Personally engage with customer complaints* Ensuring full adherence to Company policies and procedures including the KION Code of Compliance* To deliver in the role effectively you need to be actively contributing towards the overall leadership of the business by engaging positively and supportively with colleagues in other business streams and putting the overall success of the business ahead of any departmental priorities.* Ideally you will have some asset management experience in material handling, construction or another b2b environment. You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have technical understanding, and you will need to have good IT/systems skills (particularly SAP and Excel).To deliver in the role effectively you need to be actively contributing towards the overall leadership of the business by engaging positively and supportively with colleagues in other business streams and putting the overall success of the business ahead of any departmental priorities.Ideally you will have some asset management experience in material handling, construction or another b2b environment.
