As our Assistant Director of Assets, youll play a key role in helping us provide this for families in Gloucestershire and the surrounding area. You will lead on the development and delivery of ambitious asset management and net zero strategies making sure that out tenants remain at the heart of the decisions you make.
As a member of our leadership team, youll act as the technical advisor for all things assets including management, maintenance, energy improvement work, surveying and compliance. Youll support the Head of Assets and the Head of Compliance in delivering customer-focussed services and developing a culture that values diversity and supports our grow our own approach to learning and development.

Youll be an advocate for the families living in our homes, making sure that we listen to what they are telling us and using this to develop our strategic approach to managing our homes.
What we are looking for:
An experienced senior leader who has led multi-disciplined teams and external contractors with exceptional customer-focus. Skilled and experienced in the strategic management of social housing homes, landlord compliance, capital works delivery, net zero, Building Safety, CDM, construction related health and safety and contract procurement and delivery management. Proven track record for creating and delivering plans and strategies that produce excellent results at a housing association or similar organisation. Excellent strategic and analytical skills and an ability to identify and understand the needs of customers and create and deliver ambitious strategic plans to meet these. Able to set clear direction for their areas of responsibility to enable the successful delivery of agreed objectives, taking ownership and accountability for the success and performance management of areas of responsibility. Qualifications
Qualified to degree level or equivalent (such as HND) in a relevant subject area or qualified by experience. A relevant Management Qualification, ILM, CMI or similar would be an advantage. Evidence of Continuous Professional Development. MRICS or MCIOB would be an advantage. Full Driving Licence and have access to a car insured for business use. NEBOSH or similar experience would be desirable. Project Management qualification would be desirable
