We’re looking for an Assistant Director of People & Culture (Maternity Cover) to join our People & Culture team at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the People & Culture function, including payroll administration, recruitment and HR administration
- Oversee employee relations, provide guidance on resolution and compliance with employment law
- Drive colleague engagement initiatives to promote a positive working culture
- Coach and support managers on performance management, team development and HR best practice
- Complete HR analytics and reporting
- Collaborate with the Director of People & Culture and senior leaders to drive an effective people strategy
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior HR role within hospitality with demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and experience managing ER cases
- Ability to analyse HR data to drive insights and decisions
- Excellent interpersonal, coaching and influencing skills
- Experience with HR systems; Workday and ADP is preferred
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally across all levels of the business
