Assistant Director - Rapid Prototyping, Analytics & AI, EY Parthenon

4 Days Old

The role blends high-fidelity design, cutting-edge web app development, and AI integration to bring client concepts to life.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of high-fidelity wireframes and clickable prototypes using Figma, ensuring alignment with client needs and business objectives.
  • Develop functional prototypes and proofs of concept using modern front-end and back-end technologies, ensuring solutions are both functional and scalable.
  • Partner directly with clients to co-create solutions in workshops, support client discussions with compelling demonstrations, and deliver working prototypes as part of engagements.
  • Embed AI capabilities into solutions, including the use of LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and embeddings, to create innovative and practical applications.
  • Balance hands‑on technical delivery with leadership and mentoring responsibilities, guiding a small team of developers and designers.
  • Contribute to EY's innovation agenda by building scalable assets that can be reused across multiple projects and markets.
  • Collaborate across EY-Parthenon and the broader EY network to ensure solutions integrate seamlessly with existing platforms and services.

Qualifications

  • High proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping, with the ability to move seamlessly from concept to functional solution.
  • Understanding of software engineering practices, including version control (Git).
  • Front‑end development experience, ideally React and TypeScript, with exposure to component libraries such as ShadCN.
  • Back‑end development to support functional prototyping, ideally Node.js, with helpful knowledge of Python.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, ideally Azure, with an understanding of how to leverage services for rapid prototyping rather than deep infrastructure expertise.
  • Proven ability to integrate and apply AI technologies such as LLMs, RAG, and embeddings in practical contexts.
  • A mindset that embraces AI as a core part of day‑to‑day work, continually seeking opportunities to apply it in design, development, and delivery.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into working prototypes at pace.
  • Strong communication skills, able to engage with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Be familiar with agile ways of working, including rapid iteration and co‑creation with clients.
  • Have experience in data visualisation, translating data into clear and compelling visual stories.
  • Bring experience of working in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Show curiosity for emerging technology trends, particularly in generative AI, human‑AI collaboration, and no‑code/low‑code accelerators.
