Associate Claims Director - Contingency

Summary

Our client who is a leading Lloyds Broker is looking for an Associate Claims Director to join their expanding Contingency Claims team in the London office. The purpose of the role is to service the claims needs as well as support other Associate Claims Directors, management and colleagues to achieve and surpass their targets and provide a first class service at all times.







Main Duties:



* Manage new instructions and work in progress in accordance with set service standards and company procedures.

* Registering new Contingency claims accurately on relevant computer systems and updating the records during the life of the claim.

* Ensuring all claims and correspondence, on delegated authority cases, are correctly maintained and to provide a clear and concise history of events, actions and quantum assessment.

* Obtaining and submitting completed Client claim documentation to Insurers or nominated service providers promptly.

* Dealing with Client enquiries within designated time frames or as otherwise agreed with Client.

* Communicating effectively with Insurers, nominated service providers, engineers and Loss Adjusters.

* Providing advice and assistance to Clients, client directors and other involved parties to actively manage the claim process and minimise lapse time.







Essential Skills Required:



* Previous experience within a similar Claims role

* Prior experience in a client facing role of Contingency claims handling

* Compliant in using MS Office application

* Working with bespoke London Insurance market IT platforms







Desirable:



* Good organisation skills



* Personal effectiveness, including time management and priority setting

* High personal drive and resilience



* Working towards CII qualifications is desirable
