Associate Client Engagement Director, EMEA (Contract)Join to apply for the Associate Client Engagement Director, EMEA (Contract) role at Dow JonesOne year contractOverviewThe Dow Jones Partners and Licensing team (PAL) fosters and grows relationships with Partners and Licensors around the world, helping to power the Professional Information Business, the B2B division of Dow Jones & Company. This role sits within the Commercial Partnerships vertical within the EMEA PAL team. The Commercial Partnerships team focuses on accelerating our subscriber base and revenue outside the United States via long-term partnerships.Role & ResponsibilitiesManage the end-to-end conversion, launch, services execution, optimisation and renewal of all EMEA & LATAM partners. Act as the main point of contact for partners and represent the company in managing business relationships at all levels of the partner company.Plan and collaborate across sales development, contract negotiation, technical integration, and marketing to multi-task multiple complex projects and achieve results. Aim to renew and grow accounts to contribute to Dow Jones targets.Build strong internal networks and external relationships to support clients; establish yourself as a key advocate for the Commercial Partnerships team within Dow Jones.Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills; work independently, manage deliverables, and escalate to the manager as needed.Report to Head of EMEA, Partners & Licensing. Travel internationally as required.Key ActivitiesBuild and maintain excellent client relationships, both face-to-face and virtually. Serve as the main conduit to Dow Jones services.Maintain ongoing client contact to support renewal of partnership agreements, including at least one monthly call, quarterly business reviews, and any additional time for special projects.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to increase engagement and account size within the lifecycle of the partnership.Forecast existing business and anticipate revenue-impacting changes.Be the account director for an existing and growing global client base, responsible for renewing high-value subscriptions and identifying new revenue opportunities.Support the sales team in new business pursuit and manage a support resource.Engage with a diverse client base across EMEA and Latin America, respecting international business and cultural nuances.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree10 years of experience in sales account management and/or new business generationFluent in spoken and written English; knowledge of one other European language is advantageousAbility to manage a busy workload in a calm, proactive, solution-oriented manner; capable of handling multiple projects concurrentlyBackground in publishing, media licensing, or online solutions with strong negotiation skillsExcellent interpersonal skills; capable of engaging with diverse personalities and following up effectivelyAttention to detail with strong multitasking and prioritisation abilitiesAbility to build internal and external relationships; self-motivated, trustworthy, and confidentKnowledge or interest in financial markets is desirableBenefitsComprehensive Healthcare PlansPaid Time OffRetirement PlansComprehensive Insurance PlansLifestyle programs & Wellness ResourcesEducation BenefitsFamily Care Benefits & Caregiving SupportCommuter Transit ProgramSubscription DiscountsEmployee Referral ProgramOther InformationReasonable accommodation: Dow Jones is an equal opportunity employer.
